"I have been wanting to work with spray paint as a way of creating a holographic space. My idea for this piece was to “hold space” for another or others to be in your life, I made it like a ritual for a friend who sought a soulmate. And just in general, like brujería, casting a spell by creating that sacred space. Hence Hechizo, which means spell in Spanish."
